Refund & Exchange Policy

Thank you for supporting our handcrafted Maoshan Taoist items. Each item—such as talismans, incense tablets, and spiritual protection charms—is handmade with traditional rituals, blessings, and craftsmanship. Because of the sacred and customized nature of our products, our refund and exchange guidelines differ slightly from typical commercial goods. Please read the policy carefully.

Order Cancellation

If you wish to cancel your order, you must email us at daoist999@gmail.com within 24 hours after placing the order.

Because each item begins ritual preparation shortly after the order is received, any cancellation requested after 24 hours will incur a £10 processing fee, deducted from the refunded amount.

Returns

We have a 7-day return policy, meaning you have 7 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return:

  • Your item must be in the same condition as when received

  • Unworn, unused, and with original packaging

  • Includes any tags, ritual certificates, or proof of purchase

Items returned without email confirmation will not be accepted.

Strict Time Limit for Refund Requests (Important for Handmade Ritual Items)

Because all items are handmade and infused with ritual blessings:

  • All refund requests and any issues related to the product must be emailed to us within 3 days after the delivery is marked as completed.

  • After 3 business days, we will no longer accept refund requests for any reason.

  • This rule ensures fairness, as ritual-prepared items cannot be resold or reused.

Shipping Damage or Production Errors

Please inspect your package upon arrival.
If the item is damaged, defective, or if you receive the wrong item, contact us within 3 days so we can evaluate the issue.

If the mistake is caused by us—such as a production error, wrong item, wrong design—
➡️ We will offer a free return and free replacement, with no cost to you.

Exchanges

We accept exchange requests within 7 days of receiving the product.

The fastest way to exchange an item is to:

  1. Contact us for return approval

  2. Return the item

  3. After approval, place a new order for the item you want

If the exchange is due to an error caused by us, we will handle the exchange free of charge.

Non-returnable Items

We cannot accept returns for:

  • Personalized or custom ritual items

  • Special orders created specifically for your spiritual request

  • Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases

  • Sale items or gift cards

EU 7-Day Cooling-Off Period

If your order is shipped to the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 7 days for any reason, following EU law.
The item must still meet the unused/original condition requirements above.

Refund Processing

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of approval or denial.

If approved:

  • A refund will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days.

  • Your bank or credit card provider may take additional time to process the refund.
